Redeem offer for annual Instacart+ members

To redeem—

  1. Log in to your Instacart account.
  2. Tap Account at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Your Instacart+ membership.
  5. Scroll down to Unlock special offers.
  6. Select Activate under the New York Times Cooking offer.

If you’re an Instacart+ trial or monthly member, you must upgrade to an annual plan to qualify for this offer.

Redeem offer for New York Times subscribers

To redeem the $20 off first order of $50 or more—

  1. Select Start Shopping in the New York Times Cooking app.
  2. You’ll be brought to the Instacart app or webview where you’ll see a banner at the bottom with the offer. 
  3. Tap Claim.
  4. Tap Get started.
  5. Enter your phone number or email to sign up for an Instacart account.
  6. Tap Continue.
    1. If eligible, the offer applies automatically at checkout as long as you meet the order minimum.
    2. If not eligible, you’ll see a message explaining you don’t qualify.
  7. Select a store to start shopping.

To redeem 50% off your first year of Instacart+—

  1. You’ll see a banner on the Instacart homepage with the offer.
  2. Select Save more.
  3. Enter your payment method.
  4. Select Join Instacart+.
  5. You can immediately enjoy the benefits of Instacart+ on your next order.
